launch status
At launch, The Cabo Lifestyle has no active:
- hotel or vacation-rental affiliate links;
- tour or activity affiliate links;
- sponsored articles;
- paid rankings;
- display advertising;
- newsletter sponsorships;
- booking or reservation widgets;
- lead-generation arrangements;
- referral commissions; or
- paid business listings.
Ordinary links to official sources may be included to help a reader verify current information. Those links are not represented as endorsements or commercial arrangements.
PAID PARTNER
PAID PARTNER appears when a material commercial relationship exists in connection with the content or placement.
Examples include:
- direct payment;
- sponsorship;
- affiliate commission;
- revenue sharing;
- complimentary access tied to coverage;
- hosted travel tied to coverage;
- paid photography or production supplied for promotional use; or
- another material business benefit.
The disclosure appears near the content or recommendation. A footer-only disclosure is not sufficient for a material relationship tied to a specific page.
Complimentary access
Complimentary access does not automatically make an observation false, but it can matter to a reader. The page states what was provided and by whom when the benefit is connected to coverage.
Affiliate links
If separately approved later:
- the page discloses that the publication may earn a commission;
- the notice appears before or near the first applicable link;
- paid links receive appropriate search-engine qualification;
- current prices and availability remain controlled by the provider; and
- commission does not buy the editorial conclusion.
Sponsored content
Sponsored material uses a visually distinct template and unmistakable label. A sponsor may review factual descriptions of its own product or offer, but it does not control independent comparisons or conclusions.
Editorial rankings
A business cannot purchase inclusion or position in an independent ranking. Any future paid directory or partner collection must be separated visually and structurally from independent editorial choices.
Gifts and discounts
A gift, discount, meal, event access, or service may require disclosure when it is material to the coverage. The publication evaluates the context and states the benefit plainly when applicable.
Future activation gate
Commercial systems require:
- separate documented publication review;
- a versioned commercial-activation addendum;
- updated disclosure and privacy language;
- technical review of tracking and data collection;
- appropriate paid-link qualification; and
- confirmation that the commercial model does not contradict existing editorial claims.
